Terminology creation and harmonization required for translating the EU legislation.

This event offers introductory lectures on the subjects below:

1)     Terminological harmonization at concept level : EU law concepts.

2)     Collaborative terminology work between subject field experts and terminology.

3)     Albanian terms for concepts of EU law.

The Summer School is:

i)  focused on specific area and technical terminology, divided by policy area (acquis chapters),

ii)  inviting students to present and discuss challenges and ideas regarding the considerable amount of acquis translation work ahead of us.

iii)  delivered by experts and practitioners from EU and Albanian institutions, aimed at bringing multidisciplinary perspectives and practical implications

Participants will:

• develop a deep understanding of European history and politics
• strengthen their soft skills and rhetoric for acquis chapters
• benefit of an interdisciplinary learning environment
• attend cultural event
• receive 4 ECTS credits for the EU Studies summer school
